My name is Rick Pearson. Industrious, inquisitive, thorough, exacting, professional, and enthusiastic toward things for which I am passionate.
I strongly believe in selecting the right tools for every life endeavor, professional and personal alike. WordPress is the right tool for the internet. It is open source, community developed, widely adopted, well documented, and professionally supported across cultures and peoples.
Prior to WordPress, I experimented in-depth with other solutions (Joomla! Drupal, et al.). They’re okay – nothing wrong with them, but as an individual looking for every advantage in my efforts to be seen and heard on the internet – my exhaustive research revealed WordPress to be second to none and I haven’t looked back once!
WordPress is not perfect directly out-of-the-box. I’ve learned to make many refinements, modifications and optimizations to WordPress over the years resulting in my personal ‘perfect recipe for performance and seo’.
The Improvements and refinements I’ve made include structuring custom organization patterns for the WordPress Administrative Backend, relegating script loading functionality to relevant pages, implementing schema and rich snippets, and integrating modern media capabilities including Live-Streaming, YouTube Channel display, and audio podcasting with statistics – all inside of WordPress – operating in a performant manner according to Google, GTMetrix, and Gift of Speed webpage auditing tools.
As a Creative individual myself, I desire to spend my time creating new artistic works and allocating the hours of my day wisely in meaningfully self-fulfilling ways. This is the chief motivating factor for why I chose WordPress as the foundation for my online works, why I’ve invested so many years in refining it’s performance and usability, and why I recommend that you benefit from my works and avoid ‘re-inventing the wheel’.
